BharatBenz 4032T Review — Premium Trucking for India

The BharatBenz 4032T is Daimler India Commercial Vehicles' flagship 40-tonne tractor, built on the same global platform as the Mercedes-Benz Actros.

Powering it is the OM906LA 7.2-litre engine producing 320 HP and 1,250 Nm, paired with a 16-speed manual gearbox. The result is effortless overtaking on highways and excellent fuel efficiency in the 3.8-4.1 km/l range when running fully loaded.

At ₹46 lakh ex-showroom, it's a premium proposition — but fleet operators we spoke to report 18% lower TCO over five years compared to mass-market equivalents.
