Tata Nexon EV 2026 Gets 50 kWh Battery, 489 km Range

The Tata Nexon EV has received a major mid-life update with a brand new 50 kWh prismatic LFP battery pack, delivering 489 km of MIDC range — the most for any sub-₹25 lakh EV in India.

DC fast charging support is now up to 100 kW, allowing a 10-80% top up in 25 minutes on a compatible charger. Tata is bundling free Tata Power EZ Charge subscriptions for one year with all new bookings.

Other updates

• New V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capability — 3.3 kW output
• Level 2 ADAS now standard on the top Empowered+ trim
• Heat pump for cabin heating/cooling efficiency

The Nexon EV Long Range starts at ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹21.49 lakh for the top Empowered+ trim.
