Ather 450X 2026 Spotted Testing — Bigger Battery on the Way

Ather Energy's 450X was caught testing near its Bengaluru R&D centre wearing minimal disguise. The test mule appears to have a larger battery hump and a relocated charging port.

If the rumours hold, Ather may offer a 5 kWh battery option (up from 3.7 kWh today), pushing certified range past 200 km. The brand's Fast Charging network is also being upgraded to support 150 kW peak charging at select hubs.

An official reveal is expected at the upcoming Ather Community Day later this quarter.
