KTM Duke 390 2026 Review — Sharper, Lighter, and Still Mad
The third-generation KTM Duke 390 arrives in India with a sharper chassis, retuned suspension, and KTM's flagship Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) borrowed from the 890 Duke.
Power figures remain at 45 bhp and 39 Nm but a new airbox, lighter wheels and a 5kg weight drop have transformed how the bike feels through corners. The bi-directional quickshifter is now standard, and a 5-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity replaces the older LCD.
On the track
Kari Motor Speedway tested every ounce of the Duke's new geometry. Turn-in is razor-sharp, mid-corner stability is much better than before, and the brakes — now ByBre 320mm front with Bosch 9.1 ABS — never faded across a 30-minute session.
Priced at ₹3.13 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Duke 390 undercuts the Triumph Speed 400 by a small margin and is still the most engaging single-cylinder streetfighter under ₹4 lakh.
