Hyundai Creta Facelift Review — Still the SUV to Beat?
The Hyundai Creta facelift is here, and on paper it ticks every box. New face, new powertrains, a vertically-oriented twin-screen dashboard layout, and Level 2 ADAS as standard from the mid trim.
Driving impressions
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with the new 7-speed DCT is the pick of the powertrains — refined, quick to respond, and noticeably more fuel-efficient than the outgoing 1.4 turbo. The 1.5 diesel continues but is now BS6 Phase 2 compliant with marginally improved torque delivery.
Ride quality on the new MacPherson front with retuned dampers is calmer than before, though the rear can still feel busy on patchy tarmac.
Verdict
At ₹11 lakh to ₹20.45 lakh, the Creta facelift remains the segment benchmark — but the Kia Seltos and Skoda Kushaq make the choice harder than ever.
